As if things weren’t bad enough

Hello readers, followers, fellow
parents, educators, and curiosity seekers! It has a bit since i have made a post but fear not! I am back on my soapbox and ready for action.
I live in the beautiful state of New Mexico – land of enchantment and apparently the worst place to be a kid!  Terrible.
According to a study by the Annie E. Casey Foundation which measures data collected over a 7 year period know 16 indicators of child wellbeing including poverty levels and school enrollment our great state is now dead last!
Could this possibly be an indicator that no child left behind is ineffective?  That teachers need smaller.class sizes and bigger pay checks? Or perhaps as parents we must stop relying on public school to raise our children?
